Learning ASL is a visual language with lots of movement.
Kinesthetic (movement) learning has been supported by research in neuroscience and embodied cognition, proving that the brain and motor systems are deeply interconnected.
Engaging in physical movement and hands-on activities we activate the motor cortex, thereby stimulating the release of focus-boosting neurotransmitters like dopamine.
This active engagement transitions learners from passive receivers to active experimenters, which improves engagement and deepens long-term memory retention.
Join us in moving with ASL and get a dose of dopamine while you learn!
All sessions are independently tailored to each cohort. If you join in the first session or the 6th, it doesn't matter. We all learn together.
We build on the knowledge that is in the room. Pulling from your personal experiences and goals.
You will be actively moving during sessions: sitting, standing, walking short distances, arm movements, facial movements, leg and feet movements.
Yes, I know it sounds strange, so embrace the strange and get ready to crinkle your forehead!
Cost: $50.00/person/session
